Regular Membership:
Any individual who has been awarded a degree, diploma, or certificate by UMES or any of its predecessor institutions may become a Regular Member of this Chapter by paying the appropriate annual membership fees. Such members shall be accorded full voting rights and the right to hold office.

Associate Membership:
A person who attended UMES or any of its predecessor's institutions but did not receive a degree, diploma, or certificate. Associate members are voting members of the Association and are not eligible to hold office.
